A NURTURING PANACEA FOR SKIN AND LIPS

Made with organic Australian Hemp, Carrot, Rosehip and Castor oils + flowers of Calendula, Chamomile and Arnica + butters of Moringa, Cocoa and Shea.

Suitable for the most sensitive skin - even pregnant bellies and baby bottoms.

Apply as needed to lips, hands, nipples, bruises, dry skin anywhere on the face or body to soothe, nourish and heal. Will melt into skin on application, forming a protective barrier. Vegan suitable with no beeswax used.

This balm was lovingly created by Theme Rains, our founder, during her own pregnancy to use as a Belly Butter (to prevent all scarring (thanks Rosehip!) and create comfort and elasticity to her expanding sides with Moringa, Shea*, and Cocoa butter). It then evolved into a multi-purpose balm for dry needy areas all over the face and body (even as a hair mask), confidently applied in full knowledge it is 100% pregnancy safe and certified organic. The choice to go without the use of any essential oils makes it suitable for all stages of pregnancy and for even the most sensitive of skin. As such there is no fragrance simply the yummy natural aroma of the butters with a hint of Vanilla bean.

Once her baby was born, the Wonderbalm was put to use to heal aching areas after the birth (thanks to the Arnica and Chamomile Flowers) and then as a soothing baby bottom balm (thanks to the Calendula Flowers and Hemp) and healing nipple balm (thanks to the Castor and Hemp). These days Wonderbalm continues its usefulness as bumps and bruises salve her little boy's navigation of the harder edges of life. It is also a rich hand and face balm for the cooler, drier months, and a great lip balm all year around.

Note - the Shea Butter occasionally forms little grainy lumps as it cools or warms and re-cools in transport. These simply melt into the skin on application and do not compromise the efficacy of the product at all. They can just look a little strange. We decided to allow these natural variations and keep the product 100% pure and Vegan, rather than adding synthetic stabilisers or beeswax. We love our Wonderbalm and hope you do too.

protect a woman

Provide shelter

What can $1 do?

protect a woman

Every $50 provides a woman with a hot meal and a safe, comfortable place to stay for one night Existing services cannot meet the demand for emergency crisis accommodation for women who are homeless or escaping domestic violence. More than 50% of women seeking shelter are turned away every night. Across Australia, this equates to over 50,000 women nightly. Women unable to access shelters are left vulnerable, disconnected from community and support networks. Women’s Community Shelters are dedicated to providing women and children with a safe place to stay. Note: To ensure greatest impact, donations are sent to Women’s Community Shelters with the flexibility to support this and other related projects. This allows Women’s Community Shelters to use their expertise to direct resources to be as effective as possible.

restore the land

Replant our habitat

What can $1 do?

restore the land

$50 plants enough trees and shrubs to store 1 tonne of carbon dioxide Since European settlement, over 90 million hectares of land across Australia has been cleared, threatening species and the productivity of farmlands. Climate change will only exacerbate the impact with reduced rainfall, increased temperatures, droughts and more frequent extreme weather events. Greening Australia aims to restore 330,000 hectares of native trees across Australia by 2030. Drawing on the expert input of Traditional Owners, scientists and local land managers, we will plant 500 million trees and shrubs to store carbon, create quality habitat for native wildlife, and restore degraded farmland. These 500 million trees and shrubs will absorb over 1.3 million tonnes of carbon dioxide per year by 2030, and reduce atmospheric carbon pollution. This is one of the world’s largest and most ambitious ecological restoration programs. Note: To ensure greatest impact, donations are sent to Greening Australia to support this and other related projects. This allows them to use their expertise to direct resources to be as effective as possible.

clean the sea

Clean our seas and harbours

What can $1 do?

clean the sea

$1 removes 1.2kg of plastic and debris from the ocean Over 160 million tons of plastic is produced each year to create single-use disposable items and packaging. With no established system to close the loop, this has led to over 70 years of accumulation of plastics in landfill (40%) and the environment (32%), with only 10% being recycled. Plastics end up in waterways and oceans, breaking down into ever smaller pieces called micro-plastics, well known for entering the food chain through the water, air and food that we consume. Seabin Smart Tech, similar to a rubbish bin X pool skimmer, removes floating plastics as small as 2mm, filtering 600,000L of water per day from oil and surface pollutants. Note: To ensure greatest impact, donations are sent to Seabin Foundation to support this and other related projects. This allows them to use their expertise to direct resources to be as effective as possible.
