We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the title of "Best Sustainable Skincare" in the prestigious Australasian Spa and Wellness Awards 2023, along with the honor of being the runner-up for the "Most Innovative Product."

With a whopping 121 entries from 8 countries and a judging panel composed of industry experts, we extend our sincere appreciation to the judges and the dedicated team behind Spa and Wellness, led by the incredible Kris Abbey. Congratulations are also in order for our esteemed spa partners, Peninsula Hot Springs and Capella Sydney Auriga Spa, who brought home multiple awards in their categories.

Sustainability and innovation have been integral to our products and business practices since our inception. We continually strive to raise the bar in every aspect of what we do. It is indeed a profound honor to be recognized as the best in our class this year. We understand that many who are new to our brand may not fully grasp the extent of our sustainability efforts. Awards like these help shed light on the diligent work happening behind the scenes.

In the past, we were proud recipients of the Social Responsibility award in the Clean and Conscious Awards, and we were runners-up to Weleda in the Paris Sustainable Beauty Awards for the Green Formulations category. These accolades are a testament to our unwavering commitment to a more sustainable future.

However, sustainability, for us, goes far beyond the use of post-consumer recycled materials, closed-loop recycling programs, bio packaging, and ethically sourced 100% natural biodegradable ingredients from certified organic farms and pristine wildcrafted places (all of which we do and you can learn more about here ***LINK TO sustainability page). It encompasses a deeper connection to nature and a profound understanding that we are an integral part of it. Research shows that spending time in nature makes us more inclined to protect it.

Following the splendid Award ceremonies at the Intercontinental Hotel Sorrento, our founder, Theme Rains, participated as a speaker on the Sustainability panel at the Longevity Summit. Hosted by The Peninsula Hot Springs and organized by Spa and Wellness, this summit was a gathering of the Australasian Wellness industry leaders.

The panel discussion was led by the esteemed Marine Biologist, Louise Naïma Laing from People4Ocean, a passionate advocate for our planet's well-being. Louise eloquently shed light on the alarming signs of environmental overheating and imbalance our world is currently facing, resulting in a devastating impact on both flora and fauna.

While the challenges ahead may appear daunting, we need to also be reminded that we each possess the power to enact meaningful change. By taking personal responsibility for our actions and choices, we can set in motion a ripple effect that, when combined with the efforts of others, has the potential to restore harmony to our relationship with Nature. It's this harmony that ensures the thriving of life as we know it.
