Aussie hotspot wins top prize at World Luxury Spa Awards
A unique Aussie spa in Victoria has taken out the title for best Luxury Mineral Spring Spa in the world. The Peninsula Hot Springs, found in Fingal on the Mornington Peninsula, was announced the global winner in the category at the World Luxury Spa Awards, held in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
The awards are handed out based on nominations from spa guests, which are then reviewed by an expert panel of independent spa consultants from all over the world. Winners in each category are judged on quality, innovation and service.
The Peninsula Hot Springs spa has a very unique menu of treatments and services that are inspired by the landscape and Australia's Indigenous heritage. For example, the newest treatment, the Dreamtime Stone Massage was developed in collaboration with Synthesis Organics and a Kurradji, Indigenous medicine man, Mooks.
